I highly recommend Dr. Flavia van Riel as a psychiatrist. My wife suffered from anxiety and panic attacks and urgently needed help. Dr. van Riel made herself available right away. Dr. van Riel prescribed a short course of medication and reassured my wife that her anxiety and panic attacks could successfully be treated. My wife quickly improved, and Dr. van Riel carefully adjusted and managed her medication. In addition, Dr. van Riel provided therapeutic counseling that assisted my wife’s recovery. Throughout my wife’s treatment, Dr. van Riel showed professionalism, competence and genuine concern for alleviating my wife’s distress. I highly recommend Dr. van Riel to anyone needing a psychiatrist in whom they can have confidence and trust.

I was very fortunate to find Dr. Flavia van Riel as my psychiatrist. She has truly been a lifesaver. When I reached out for help, she immediately made herself available to me. She is a very knowledgeable and experienced professional and is caring and compassionate. She has been clear and concise in outlining the course of my treatment through medication and psychotherapy, and in keeping me informed of my progress. Finding Dr van Riel and the professional and excellent services she provides have been very helpful to our family as we have navigated the depths of chronic depression toward a much improved outcome. Great treatment in a short amount of time. More expensive than my previous doctor but it is worth the cost, by far. I'm excited for the future again.

Dr Van Riel was very kind, and quickly put me at ease. At no time did I feel rushed or pressured, and she explained things very fluently. I feel real hope for the first time in a long while.
